Coastal holiday decor doesn't have to stop at blue and white. Jewel tones, warm brass, and sea glass colors have a place in a beach cottage at the holidays, mixing easily with pieces you have on hand. These handmade Etsy finds work together or on their own, from the tree to the front door.

Many of these pieces are made in limited numbers, so order early.

Garlands

1. Retro Tinsel Garland

Jewel-toned ornaments strung on blue tinsel bring a burst of color and a little vintage charm. Drape one on the tree, across a bookshelf, or along a doorway.

2. Seashell String Lights

Scallops and starfish in a soft pearly finish glow warmly along a mantel or window. They work well beyond the holidays too. Each strand is made to order, so allow a few extra weeks.

3. Brass Bell Garland

Rustic brass bells on jute cord add warmth and a gentle chime. Hang them on the front door, wrap them around a lantern, or layer them with cedar and holly.

4. Glass Bead Garland

A glass bead garland in every color catches the light on the tree and pairs well with driftwood, shells, and bayberry.

Decor

1. Beachcomber Tree

A blue and white shell tree topped with a starfish brings the classic coastal palette to a side table or bookshelf.

2. Snow Maiden

A needle felted winter figure in deep navy, with reindeer on her skirt and a candle in her hands, adds a storybook touch to a windowsill or mantel.

3. Nautical Christmas Stockings

Sailcloth stockings with signal flag cuffs and appliquéd anchors, crabs, and sailboats give the mantel a crisp coastal look.

4. Handcrafted Sailboat

Handmade from recycled materials and trimmed with shells and other beach finds, each boat is one of a kind. It makes a charming centerpiece. Fill the hull with greenery or small ornaments for the season.
